Minoan Civilization

Greek civilization first emerged on the island of Crete, with the city of Knossos. This civilization was called the Minoan civilization. Apparently, Minoans lived the sweet life, and art was important. Military power was unimportant, and priests probably headed the civilization. But in 1500 BC, some disaster occurred, and mainlanders took over.
